Beautiful and Brahms

Saint Joseph Symphony is excited to begin this season with music director, Christopher Kelts. Designed to showcase the vast depth of the SJS orchestral sound, Faure’s Pelleas et Melisande Suite is a collection of four movements telling the story of two young people in love through sounds of song, dance and nostalgia. Brahms’ second symphony is popular due to its song-like opening. The listener will move through deep romantic melodies and dance, before ending most triumphantly. A perfect season opener!
