Season, Sound & World

Saint Joseph Symphony is excited to begin a new adventure with our new music director, Christopher Kelts. This program will begin our 2021/2022 season right with exciting sounds from our talented musicians. The season will open with Beethoven’s Overture to Egmont, a work that perfectly embodies struggle and triumph. Abdelazar Suite highlights the French dance influence of Baroque English composer, Henry Purcell. that will be beautifully performed by the Symphony strings. Premiered with the New York Philharmonic, the Saint Joseph Symphony is pleased to perform Dvorak’s impactful work – his New World Symphony (Symphony No. 9, in D minor).
